Construction Education Foundation (CEF) was founded in January 1996 by Associated Builders & Contractors and Associated General Contractors (TEXO). CEF has a rich 40-year history in workforce education/training for our industry standing on the programs placed into CEF by ABC and AGC. American Subcontractors (ASA) joined TEXO as a sponsoring Association later in 1996. CEF facilitates workforce development training programs and craft/apprenticeship programs for Plumbing Heating and Cooling Contractors of Texas (PHCC).
The New Construction Science Building in partnership with Dallas College/North Lake Campus is well underway, slabs are poured, and steel is being erected into the air! As we move industry forward into this new state of the art workforce education/training facility now it is time to look further ahead into the future. Funding must be identified and secured to be able to move in and set up the furniture, fixtures and equipment that will allow the building to be functional for the Fall 2021 Opening. Every dollar raised by your donation will be used to accomplish this goal!
