Topics will include: Orientation to the Trade, Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction
Math, Introduction to Hand Tools, Introduction to Power Tools, Pipefitter
Hand Tools, Pipefitter Power Tools, and Introduction to Basic Rigging. Advanced
Pipe Fabrication, Stress Relieving and Aligning, Steam Traps, Inline
Specialties, Special Piping, Hot Taps, Maintaining Valves, and Introduction
to Supervisory Roles.

For Spring 2025, students enrolled in Pipefitting I-A must also be enrolled in the Wednesday Pipefitting I-B class with Bryan Reed.
